Images as Links

Another useful technique in webpage design is to use images as links. I use this technique in the Canaries Holiday Snaps section of the site - if the user clicks on the thumbnail(smaller version of the original) they are in effect clicking on a link to another page where the full-size photo is held.

First insert an image

Next select the image by holding down the left mouse button and drag across the image, you will know when it is selected as you will get a negative of the image.

Now go to Elements > Link and enter or browse for the page you are linking to - you can also do this for links off your site. If you don't or can't remember how to insert a link go to Links in the top menu or click here
