Page, Background and Link Colours

To change the background, text or links colours go to the Format menu and select Page Colors and Backgrounds. - the following window will open.

Readers defaults colors: This option does not allow colors to be set in the page but relies on whatever colour scheme the user has setup on his machine - do not use this option. Click the Custom Colors radio button.

Use Custom Colors:

• Normal Text: Sets the text colour - to set individual words or sentences to a particular colour see Text Formatting.
• Links: Set the colour of the Link , Visited sets the colour of the link once it has been visited and Active set the active colour.
• Background: Sets the background colour
• Background Image: browse to locate your image if you intend to use one. NOTE:the background to this page is only 2KB - avoid large graphics as they take ages to download.

Text colour can also be set by using the button in the toolbar.
