Tables are very useful for formatting and organising your web pages.
To insert a table first place the cursor at the point of insertion. Then select 'Table> Insert Table' and the following dialog will be presented:

The Table Dialog:

- Columns - How may do you want
Layout:
- Alignment - Left, Right or Centre
- Border Size - Width of the borders
- Cell Margins - Spacing - the distance between individual cells
- Cell Margins - Padding - the distance between the cell border and where the content starts
Width:

Make your settings and then click OK.
You can if you wish 'nest tables' by selecting a cell in your newly inserted table and inserting a new table into the cell - this technique is used when building more complex page layouts.
